Depends on which State you're in I think...
Again, I'm not on the Eastern Seaboard...so I'm not familiar with the laws 
there...but out here on the West Coast, it varies from State to State...For 
instance: Out here some States allow 2 trailers to be towed by an 
semi-tractor...and some I think it's Oregon allows THREE!   Also, in some 
States no 18-wheelers or semi tractor trucks or tractors can drive in the 
inside (3rd) freeway lane.  They MUST drive ONLY in the outside and middle 
lanes.
