sorry to hear about the freeze. Sure not like the old days of quality copper
pipes. You will need to cut the end off and purchase a crimp tool and a few
collars. Most plumbing supply houses
carry the “crimp tool” you will need. (buy the one with 6’’ or less handles) I carry extra elbows and a few lengths of
pipe, collars and a crimp tool in case I encounter a leak. There was a lawsuit against
the company that produced some of that pipe a year or two ago and many homes
have been total re-plumbed at no-charge if equipped and had leaks. Not a real
