This early "spring" has us in the Airstream getting ready for
our first trip with the new red Excursion. When I winterized I forgot to
remove the water filter! It froze and expanded out of shape so it's really
stuck in the collar. I hope to get it out after putting in on the
bench in a vise, but can't figure out how to disconnect the gray plastic water
lines. The elbows and joints look to be joined with a crimped-on
collars. How do I take the plastic fittings apart - or should I just cut
the plastic and reconnect with compression fittings?
