To clarify my earlier message, that is exactly where the said fitting is located
in my motorhome, i.e. where the galley area meets the living area, on the road
side of the vehicle.  I suggest however that stripped wire ends may not make a
good connection, it is worth getting a matching plug from Radio Shack or
wherever, and attaching it to the end of the 300-ohm twin-lead (flat) cable.
