Hunter,
I know that seems like a lot of miles in 12 years but at the time I logged 
most of them I lived in Texas and traveled to the West coast during the 
summers. Most of the time I drove the southern route out thru AZ then up the 
coast to Oregon. Then returned by way of Montana and back to Texas. Just 
overnight stays till I reached specific sites of interest to me. Usually 
driving for a couple of days and stopping for an occasional nap along the 
way. 
Now that I live in PA. I hope to spend time exploring the East coast, Upstate 
NY, and parts of Canada. Since the drives won't be as long I should be able 
to stop and "smell the roses" along the way. I mostly enjoy National 
Parks,State Parks and Historical sites, mountains and the ocean. PA has some 
nice places to visit but they don't allow dogs in the campgrounds in State 
Parks so I'll spend my free time elsewhere.
