Re: [a/s] Tele Communications

I too just got the call from MCI. Its no deal. We have been buying the
at&t cards at Sams and you can just call them to add on time with your
credit card up to 2 or 3 times, before you need to buy a new card.. We
have used this system with our kids at college for 3 years now. Beware
of those too good to be true calling cards. Something else we have see
lately is a thing called Trac Fone. One brand is Nokia. You buy the phone
it a prepaid cellular phone. there are no deposits,no contracts, no
monthly bills and nationwide coverage. Iit is about $ 70 on sale for the
phone and you buy prepaid phone cards which start at $25 for 30 units up
to$90 for 150 units. You can make and receive call on this. and you need
to add units at least once every 60 days to keep active. but the unused
units can be rolled over. This seems like a good option if you need to
keep in contact. Folks can always call you and it seems alot cheaper way
to go if your not making alot of calls.. If any one has one or knows
more on this please post. thanks
