I use AT&T One Rate... couldn;t get it where I lived either so I use a 
friend's address in Cincinnati.  I can get it in most places, not all.  
Nothing covers all.  No towers, no phone.

Another thing I like about AT&T is I can hook up my computer cellular if 
necessary and get online.

You can also just bring a laptop and check morning and night in campgrounds 
to see if anyone is trying to reach you.... as you have AOL you can always 
use their 800# in places where they don't have local service (c:
