A local gas station was selling phone cards at 2 + cants per minute and we
wound up with one as a repayment for a loaned AT&T card... we made two short
calls on a 200 minute card and the card was empty....Another buyer beware
situation... With the AT&T card (from Sams) we get a real 200 minutes for
$16.50 and if you want to buy 750- minute cards it 61.50.....( .08/min)
There does not appear to be any penalty for "non use"   or delayed use...
and no penalty minutes as service fees....

I don't have any great love for AT&T but suggest dealing with a major telco
provider...
I just had a call from MCI .. they want to charge me 4.50 if I don't make a
long distance call....??????
The other neat one is the 99 cent call... what they don't tell you is that
all LD calls are 99 cents unless you go over the max and then you pay 10
cents per min after that ... but all calls are a minimum 99 cents???????

The subscription fee is another neat charge... pay to belong to the plan...
like MCI....
