Already tried pulling the plugs, no fluid lock.  There's no coolant, the engine
is an air-cooled flat twin.  A screw did fall out of the choke cover a while
back and might have fallen into something ... can't rotate the crankshaft far
enough to test compression, it is limited to a bit less than one full
revolution.

Obviously I have to yank the thing out and strip it down a bit so I can see what
the score is.
