[VACList] A/C for Flying Cloud
Patricia - Although we haven't heard from him in some time, Roy Lashway put
up this site awhile ago, for his '56 'Bubble'...

the picture at the bottom might interest you - it's a floor-mounted heat
pump for heating and cooling. I would think twice (or three times) about
putting an a/c on top of your FC - they weren't built for it.
on my '48 'Trailwind', i'm constructing sound/heat-insulated compartments
under each side of the forward cafe-seating/sleeping area, with a formerly
roof-mount coleman a/c under one side, and an onan 4kw propane-fired genset
under the other, both vented into the belly-pan, with baffles to prevent
generator exhaust from getting sucked into the a/c...
back in the day, some folks just mounted a conventional window-type a/c in
the rear window... i wouldn't do that to an airstream, anyway...
and may i suggest that you take another look at the PrecisionTemp
demand-type water heater?
