Hi again all...
With special thanks to Charlie and Daisy,  I am rethinking my use of the 
"69 Specials" and going to the "fuzzy tape"..
The tape is pictured on the Inland RV Parts Sale web page and the 69 bug 
guard shown a few lines later...

The on sale price from Inland is $1.75 per ft. and 40' or so should do my 
whole trailer...
