Since you can locate the beams underneath by the row of boltheads. Why not
just mark out the areas you need to remove and use a skill saw? You can set
the depth of the blade to the thickness of the wood and cut just a little
higher over the beams so that you miss them. Should be quicker than a jigsaw
unless you have a good one like a Porter Cable.
