[VAC] New wiring

While you are running new wire (use the kind with two wires in one sheath and secure it every few
feet), you might find it handy to buy and install two or three additional 120V outlets (surface
mounts) along the wall in the vicinity of your water pipes and also install a switch to turn that
line on or off. Then, on freezing cold nights, turn on the switch to your "plug-in light bulbs" (low
wattage) and provide heat in that area. Keep it simple and freezing weather will be no big deal when
connected to electricity.

A further consideration might be an additional outlet (floor level) for an electric heater. Then,
you could fuse it separately (a plus when several people are on the same power pole).

Regarding your question about positioning the fridge outlet; yes, but if the under counter area is
for storage also, think ahead and position the outlet so it will be convenient to plug in a tiny
nightlight in the other half of the outlet. Then, you'll have light in that storage area whenever
you are plugged into electric.
