[VAC] New wiring

I don't recall much discussion about routing of wiring, maybe because it's
just a no-brainer.

I'll be running new wiring from my 120v/12v distribution panel to the
various appliances and lights/receptacles, and it would seem apparent that
the easiest route would be under the floor (especially since the belly pan
is off). Is standard Romex wire the norm for the 120v? Would the outlet
for the fridge normally be positioned in the outside wall below counter
height? Anyone bother with conduit (plastic)?

Re: 12V wiring for ceiling lighting and the occasional receptacle, any tips
on fishing wires, and what gauge is best/workable? I know I want the 12V
receptacle runs as short as possible, and with as heavy a wire as I can
manage, but what about lights? A bonded pair (with 2 colors or a stripe)
would be nice as opposed to 2 loose wires. Who's bought what and where?

Thanks.
