 Nick,
You may notice that those holes are in the same place
on the other side, for gas lines.
Remember that our 67, 68 Safari's also came with a
reversed floor plan. I think that they put in the
holes for both plans and used the ones needed.
I pluged the extra holes on my 67 Safari.

Get that trailer ready the Cherry Blossum Rally is
fast aproaching, and you don't want to miss it.
