Pat,  I had the pin on my '77 break up in Colebrook NH and I made up a 
makeshift pin using a 6/32 screw and tape to increase the diameter, then I 
took the piecesof the pin  to a machinist frind of mine and he made me a new 
pin. If yours is similar to mine this is a possibility. One word of warning 
if you disassemble the lock don't loose the little ball  and spring that 
control the position of the actuator.. Dave@ Pepperell
