Jerry & Debbie,

#1  a 4 wheel drive uses some of your power and reduces the towing
capability.  Do you really need 4 wheel where you live? Check this out on
the Internet.

Have towed several years (a 29 ft. newer heavy weight, with a half ton burb,
2 wheel drive, over many mountain passes with no problem.  When I was first
learning towing I was told to always shift down when you lugged down to 45
mph.  What % of the time are you lugging up that much mountain?  Compare
costs of operating, insurance, etc. before making a quick judgment.  What is
your hurry?  You yung uns need to take time to smell the roses.
