But then again, if you are towing the Airstream only 18 days out of the
year, and normal driving needs the other 347, the 26MPG vs the 14MPG at
$1.57/gal (Bay Area),  plus the passenger & utility convenience of the
Silhouette, the scales tip back the other way.  Add a kid or two, and
forget the pick-up cabs.  
This is what Thor's marketing research discovered and why the new Bambi
is back.  This is also why the smaller vintage trailers sell for twice
the behemoths.
