The dutchemans cap is the center exterior panel at the top rear of mid 50's airstreams, believe the '55, '56', '57 years, possibly the '54. It starts at top at about 18" wide and flairs out as it comes down and stops at the rear window, at the same widith as the window (approx 42"). Don't know how its go this name. Roy
