A small fan of the type commonly used in computers to cool the chips in 
the main "box". They are about the size of a muffin (but more the shape 
of a biscuit), are usually both quiet and efficient, run on 12 volts, 
have a long life, and are cheap.

Through the pipes to a drain fitting underneath--unless it has been 
rerouted to the black tank by a previous owner. The idea was that the 
outside fitting was used to drain into a bucket, a sewer connection, or 
into a "gopher hole". The last is now at least frowned on and often 
prohibited/illegal.
