The Yamaha web site (under application) says a 10,000 btu air conditioning unit requires 2500 watts. The smallest generator according to their site, is the 2600 unit. Most RV airconditioners are 13,500 btu, that means you would have to go to the Yamaha 2800. (The Yamaha 2800 is loud at about 67 db) Jim
