First, check the appliances you want to use to see how much wattage they
require....and don't use the peak or surge power on the inverter to compare.
Most appliances, such as the coffee pot and toaster, require a constant power.

Then choose an inverter that will handle the constant load, and check into
wiring it directly to the battery, avoiding the cigarette lighter plug.
