Re: [A/S] 12 Volt Amp Limit?

I've only worked with 120/240V AC, where 14 gauge is perfectly adequate for
15 amps, 12 gauge for 20 amps, and 10 gauge for 30 amps. So I was skeptical
of the role of distance to which Tim alluded.

But http://www.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/12volt/12volta.htm has a useful chart
for 12v DC wiring, that does indeed rely heavily on distance. (Too bad,
since 14ga is ever so much easier to work with than 10ga :)
