A further question on the same thread: My univolt is still working
properly and the date on the label on the inside is 1969, same as our
sovereign. Having noticed the concerns about "boiled batteries" I
would like to know what would solve the battery boiling problem and
still keep the univolt. I have installed a battery cut off on the
minus side and when I park in the driveway for an extended time with
the shore power on I turn the battery switch to off. I guess I could
check the battery periodically with a voltmeter or look to see if the
cells are running out of water but that seems to be a half measure.
BTW I'm either losing my hearing or my univolt does not hummmmm or
both, contrary to what I see others experiencing.

Also, I saw a HUGE New Airstream motorhome on its way out to the Palo
Duro Canyon today. Those things are giagantic. Probably rather costly too.
