Re: [A/S] hensley arrow and Insurance

I have to chime in on this, and also tell you about our experience with our
insurance company.

Some of you may remember us writing about this earlier - I apologize if you
have to read it for a second time.

We pull a 34' front kitchen with a 3/4 Ton Dodge Ram, with a Hensley. While
traveling on a busy highway in Washington, a deer ran across the highway and
everyone hit the brakes. We were all over the highway trying to miss other
vehicles. There was a semi coming up fast on our left. We finally got to the
side of the road, plowed into a concrete barrier and when we finally came to a
standstill, the truck and trailer were perfectly straight on the shoulder of
the road. No one else was involved. We had over $16,000 damage to the truck
and trailer. We walked away without a scratch.

There is no doubt in our mind that the Hensley saved our lives. Had we
jack-knifed, that semi would have hit us broad side.

Our insurance is with Foremost. I took several pictures at the crash site,
and two tow trucks came to tow the truck and trailer to a repair shop. Took
more pictures after we got there, zipped them into a file and sent them to the
insurance adjuster. The repair shop faxed a quote the same day. The insurance
company had a check in the mail for the full amount the next morning. They
didn't even send an adjuster.

They also sent us a check for a new Hensley, plus $400 overnight shipping,
plus a check for repairs to the Airstream based on the pictures. They made it
clear that any further damage that was found during repair would be covered.
They found more and it was paid without question.

We had the truck repaired, installed the new Hensley, and pulled the trailer
to Billy Sims in Lubbock, TX. Their quote to fix the trailer was within $28
of the check Foremost had sent us.

It was something we hope we never have to go through again, but I'll tell you
this: if we do, we want Foremost there on our side.

One more thing: Last year we received a notice from Foremost saying we could
lock in our current rate on the Airstream for three years. We passed it up.
We were curious what our rate would be this year. We just received another
3-year offer at the same rate we have been paying - no increase. This time, we
jumped on it. Haven't received a notice on the truck yet.
