Re: [A/S] Brakes adn Hitches/controller mount
Most all the controllers I have seen are mounted low on the dash and it is
normally quite a reach to find the override switch in an emergency One is so
busy with the task at hand that hunting for the override button is out of the
question and than the next thing a person is prone to do is lock up the
breaks on the tow vehicle. In which things can go from bad to worse in short order.
I would personally prefer just a manual break controller mounted on the
wheel where it could be reached without having to move your hands.
One thing that worries me is that anyone with no training or instruction
Can hook on to a 34 ft trailer and head out into the traffic no idea how to
cope with highway conditions. The only requirement is to have enough cash or
credit to make the purchase
But what do I know???
