Just saying that I don't think it's a problem.

I'm doing my own, and haven't really decided yet.  Mine has been sitting 
undone for a year now for example.   :c)

My suggestion would be to put it right before the sewer connection in 
the basement.  That's where I would add mine in if I do it.  You have 
complete access to things then if there are ever plug ups or anything.

It's personal preference here.  With Concrete I would agree with you, 
but I have Gravel so I'm leaving mine a bit higher, about 4 in. from the 
ground line with a screw on cap.  you can use a screw on internal plug 
as well in a depressed area in the concrete.  You could put in a 
Connection well with a cover too, just like most public dumping 
stations.  Just make sure you aren't introducing a lot of rain water to 
the drain.

In Concrete, that's how I would do it.
