Hi,
I have a 1998 34' FK, and the converter can be reached by opening the street
side lower cabinet door under the sink. You then work your head and
shoulders in and to the right to the point where your head goes beyond the
shelf under the sink. You are looking straight down on top of the converter.
I have not tried to remove or work on mine, but it does not look like it is
impossible to get out. It has a "U ground" plug that plugs into a receptacle
mounted on the wall next to the unit as I recall. I got under there in order
to run the coax from my CB Radio through that area to the antenna mounted on
the tongue area. I drilled a small hole in the top back corner of the
battery box next to the converter to get the coax inside the trailer.
