We have a '99 front kitchen, and yes I can send you pictures of the cabinet 
between the frig and the sink.  It has three slide out drawers, which are 
extremely handy for storage.  As for the converter, we don't know how you get to 
it.  The 'door' is under the sink in the middle in the front.  We have never had 
to get in there.  You might need a repair shop to show you how.  The 12 volt 
cut-off switch is under the sink on the front.  We will send you pictures of 
that also if you promise not to laugh at my mess under the sink.  Give me a few 
minutes and I'll send that off-list.
