Thanks for the response.  I can't find a photo gallery here 
called "VA".  Where can I see those photos?

I have actually thought of re-lining the stall as you described.  
Just taking some flat liner panels from Home Depot and cutting them 
to fit.  Thought I would try the legendary 3M 5200 sealant first.

Please describe your renovation process in a little more detail.  I'm 
most interested in how you fastened the panels to the existing stall 
walls, and how you trimmed out the corners and control valve to make 
it all water tight.
