  Good Morning, Battery cables can appear to me alright on the 
outside, but will be corroded on the inside. I would suggest 
changing battery cables and make sure they are tight and the posts 
are clean. I had this happen on my old diesel suburban. The cable 
between the two batteries was corroded up inside. I hope this helps.
