One big difference between a 16 and a 19 is the holding tank capacity.  The 16 only has 
a black tank no gray tank, so if you are dry camping you are limited in the amout of time 
you can stay.  I dry camped at the Airstream Rally in Blythe Last week and the holding 
tanks were becoming an issue.  I paid a service to dump my tanks for me just for my 
comfort level. You also have a stand up shower in the 19', the 16 only has a wet shower 
where you stand in the toilet to shower. 
   
  I the think the main difference between a safari and a ccd is the interior, I think 
the ccd has the real modern stark interior and and the safari has softer more traditional
 tones.
