You are so right Dick. I have friends with old Suburbans and they tow 28-31' Sovereigns of the 70's and they do fine. Sure, the diesel has them in gas mileage (negated partly by difference in fuel price at the moment) and pulling in the mountains for steepest of hills but they are good vehicles for those who do not want a truck.
