Hi,
I think you will find the 250 Diesel will make you a fine tow vehicle for
your 34' Airstream. I speak from a small amount of experience of pulling a
34' Limited Front Kitchen over 60,000 miles in the last 5 years. I have
towed mine with a GMC 2500 6 L gas engine and the Duramax Diesel over the
60,000+ miles. I have towed in 45 of the lower 48 states, 11 Canadian
Provinces, and about all the roads in Alaska during that time. I have wound
in and around the Rockies from NM to MT, and up and down through the eastern
mountains from ME to GA, and have found the 2500 (3/4 ton) GMC pickup to be
a wonderful tow vehicle match for the 34' Airstream.

Joe Scudder - heading for Salem Oregon, the Maple Leaf and Polar Bear
Caravans in 2006 (I plan on hitting the other 3 states (NV,CA, and OR) in
the lower 48 while I am at it).
