I just moved from Baton Rouge to Kentucky - still have friends in 
South Louisiana. Post Katrina problems for my friends is not so much 
people breaking into their trailers and stealing stuff - but – 
having their trailers stolen. Housing is still at a premium and 
police wont check every little bayou to find your rig… 

I have a friends that had hers taken right out of a different 
friends backyard. Lost everything she owned (since the flood took 
her home) in the process… She is now living in the bowels of one of 
the docked cruise ships.
