If you carefully remove the monitor panel you will see
there are adjustment resistors on the circuit board
for the three tanks.  If you know the tank is nearly full
and you adjust the resistor until the full light just
comes on, it should read right at the other levels.
This adjustment may need to be redone a couple
of times a year as the residual stuff in the tank
changes with age, temperature, brand of toilet
paper, etc.  It's not a precision system.  But it should
give you a useful warning.  Note this applies to
trailers from mid nineties to present (I think).  The
older trailers had a screwdriver slot below the meter
for calibration.
