personally, if I were replacing my trailer system now?? I would put in the very
same system I use in my kitchen in teh home QTH.
you can go into any box store and go to the sinks, etc and pick out a multi
cartridge system. NOW, that presupposes that you are full timing.
if you are in your rig about 30 days out of the year, I would use a filter on
the shore hose to fill my tank (after doing a multi shock and drain) and use a
filter under the sink to feed a separate filtered water faucet on the counter.
and like others, I would avoid drinking any more water out of the tank than
necessary unless it comes thru the filtered faucet. If you need larger
quantities of water, plan on boiling it. shower? try to keep it out your eyes
and mouth. Unless you have a 100x microscope to check for organics. that still
leaves lots of other problems as in chemicals, etc.
