Propylene glycol is not toxic, ethylene glycol is poisonous.  
Somewhat more significant than marginal IMHO.  Both, however have 
similar perfomance in the YUK! department.  I'll stick with the air 
pressure system, it's always worked for me.

A pet drinking standard automotive anti-freeze is usually dead 
within minutes, I've been told.  Apparently they like the taste, so 
mop your ethylene glycol spills and use only propylene glycol in 
your Airstreams.
