This brings up a point that has bothered me each year when 
I winterize my trailer.  Does it matter if there is a 
little fresh water remaining in the tank?  I usually run 
the tank dry with the pump then open the valve on the side 
and a little more water trickles out.  As is stated, the 
valve is an inch or so above the bottom of the tank.  I 
never remove the drain plug on the bottom of the tank 
because it is quite difficult to access.  I don't think 
the water remining in the tank is a problem.  At least it 
never has been.
