The gray water tank and the kitchen and bathroom traps all breed and harbor salmonella 
and e. coli bacteria which could potentially cause serious harm to a person, animal or 
fish coming into contact with them.  Over 30 years ago, camping in an old VW van I used 
to drain my gray water into the woods, until I read about the danger in this practice 
and got a blueboy to hold it, instead.  I guess if one were careful to avoid being near 
any streams or lakes and dug a deep enough hole you could safely drain the gray water 
into the ground and then fill the hole when done.  Black or gray it is still unsanitary 
and could cause illness or worse.
