Hensley sells a 1' extension to compensate for the length of the hitch..

I use this extension and it has caused poblems due the extra set of
contacts and when I test the opetation of the signal lights, I can get
some really wierd actions due to dirty contacts... I have learned to
ask the wife for a finger nail board (like fine sandpaper on a strip
of cardboard... )  Usually gets us on the road in a couple of minutes..
