Re: [A/S] LP gas detector

A manometer sounds nifty, but will it wake me up when the leak starts?
I didn't realize that the detector had a lifespan, thanks for that
nugget. The date on one of the two I bought [in case one doesn't work]
was sept 03, so i should be ok for a few years if that's the one that
works. Is the life span based on its being in use, or does it die on
the shelf?.
When they expire [how do you know?] replacement should be easier than
it appears to be, altho replacing it would use the space and the
wiring the old one used, unless the new one is a different size or
orientation. So i guess you need to be be careful when shopping for a
new one.
