I had a '94 30' front kitchen a couple of years ago. 

Thanks Tony, for your quick answer. We have the Street side dinette,
rear Queen, Curb Side kitchen floorplan, and the step light is
unfortunately on the other side  of the door from the kitchen. the
wires there seem to be sandwiched inside the AL walls. So I don't
think those would be available to me. Your answer is exactly the type
answer I needed, but doesn't fit my floorplan.
The place it was in at the salvage yard is on the front side of the
kitchen cabinet, in the same space the furnace is in, i just don't
know how to access that space.
