Factory records indicate Airstream introduced the rear bedroom/center 
bath in the 29 & 31' in both twin and double bed models in 1973. In 1975 
they extended the center bath to the 27' as a double bed only. In 1977 
they dropped the 27' offering. In 1978 they dropped the 29' all 
together. From 1980 to 1982 there was quite a bit of model shuffling 
with the brief introduction of the Excella II and the Excella Limited 
and finally the Limited models and the 34' length. The 34' for it's 
entire production has always been a center bath model. Finally in 1985 
they introduced a side bath in the new that year 25' length. In 1986 the 
only rear bath model left was the Sovereign 27'. In 1987 a 23' rear bath 
made a brief appearance. Otherwise by this time all models were center 
bath With one or two exceptions from then until 1992 when they built the 
last rear bath in the 32' model all coaches were center bath. Of course 
now in our modern era (since 1998) there are so many smaller sizes that 
have rear baths it is hard to keep track.
