[A/S] New to RVing list

My additions and modifications to the "Take Along List".

Need items:

1. Electrical adapters:

15 Amp male to 30Amp female.
50 Amp male to 30 Amp female.

Or if RV equipped with 50 Amp connector:

15 Amp male to 50 Amp female.
30 Amp male to 50 Amp female.

2. Toilet chemicals: (any non-formaldehyde type).

3. Sewer hose. Heavy duty thicker is better.

4. Sewer hose adapters. Airstream uses a 4 1/4" connector
         not the more common 4".

5. Fresh water (potable) hoses. (50' & 25' both 5/8" ID
and a "water cheater" connector is a good idea.)

6. Small bubble level.

7. Long reach butane lighter.

8. Tool box: (Screw drivers, wrenches, small socket set,
         small hammer etc).

9. Electrical contact cleaner (for seven pin "Umbilical Cord").

10. Campground directories.

11. Cell phone, computer and cable for internet access.

12. Good tire gauge (Be sure it will go up to 70 PSI).

13. Spare water filter cartridge if so equipped.

Recommended items:

1. First aid kit (Add your own favorite pain releaver and
         Neosporin antibiotic ointment, etc).

2. Flashlights (one for each person) and extra batteries.

3. Cleaning equipment: Broom, mop, sponge, pail, soap,
         detergent, polish, chamois, etc.

4. Quick dissolving toilet paper. (Like Thetford).

5. Plastic clothes hangers.

6. Spare sewer hose, and connectors.

7. Spare garden hose washers.

8. 50' 30 Amp RV extension cord (Real rubber one
that stays pliable at cooler temperatures).

9. Spare 12 Volt light bulbs and florescent tubes.

10. Spare 12 Volt fuses if so equipped.

11. Silicone spray.

12. WD 40 spray.

13. Spare hitch pin and clips (look like giant bobbi pins).

14. Leveling blocks or boards.

15. Wheel chocks.

16. Outdoor door mat (Astro turf or polypropylene - which
         doesn't absorb water).

17. Indoor mat by the door.

18. Indoor mat by the galley sink.

19. Emergency Triangles and Flares.

20. Small light vacuum cleaner (smallest Shop-Vac works well).

21. Battery alarm clock.

22. Baking soda and plain old chlorine bleach to sanitize fresh
         water tank.

23. A couple of folding lawn chairs.

24. Garden hose connector (adapter for sewer connector)
with a short (not white) hose for gray water.

25. Blue waste water tank (10 gallon size works well).

26. 5 gallon collapsible fresh water carrier.
