[A/S] Panic

I broke out in a sweat  when I read about    needing the stabilizing bar
on the ground (rather than on  the piece of wood)  in order to prevent
becoming the path of electricity to the ground.  What about the Motor
homes?  Do all airstreams need to be grounded?  If so how?  And why is
this not general knowledge?
