[A/S] Interior colors

I have a 1964 Tradewind and I'm considering painting the interior. It 
had previously been painted a pale yellow. It's generally in good 
condition. 
I'd like some suggestions on what kind of paint to use and some color 
choices you all have used and been happy with. 

Our cushions are currently a white leather-like material and the carpet 
is a medium blue short shag.
