[A/S] Water leak
Ok folks, I need some ideas. When my 1976 Safari is hooked to city
water I am getting a leak. Mechanic friend said it was the check valve
under the sink that wasn't shutting (I know nothing about this so talk
back to me in lay term please) so it was replaced. Now once the city
water is connected and there is pressure I am still getting a leak
underneath - and it isn't a drip! :) I can't see anything leaking at
all. Any ideas? Is there something that is the first thing that goes
wrong that maybe I can trouble shoot?
Like I said, I am not well versed mechanically, however better than my
husband who isn't allowed to change the oil on the lawn tractor so I am
the designated mechanic of the family. I needed his brute strength
yesterday to loosen some bolts and did put a new alternator belt on my
83 El Camino. Piece of cake! As I do more and more little things my
confidence builds!
And I still have that 73 Cortez Motor Home for sale if anyone is interested.
A real collectible! Running too!
