While I don't have the technical details you're looking for two ideas 
come to mind.  First, today's truck boxes are likely to have the fender 
flairs integrated in such a way as to make replacing the box easier 
than removing the flairs.  I doubt the dually box has removable flairs. 
  Further, assuming the rear axles are the same between the two trucks 
you'll probably have to replace all four rear wheels with two non-dual 
designed wheels.  Both inside and outside wheels on a dually have 
significant offset.

On the other hand if the dually is such a bargain, buy it, sell it for 
a profit and then buy the truck you want.
