Depending upon your AC. I have a 3000 Honda (I do a lot of dry camping) 
which works well
with my upgraded 2004 Safari AC, IF no other large demands are made upon 
it. My frig is on Propane
but other electical (not microwave or hairdriers etc, :-) controls are 
on. You want to use micowave or
hairdrier or some such? Turn off AC.

Why? If you have shore power enjoy, no gen, that is good. :-)

You take your picks and what you want to run. How often do you want to 
fill your gen(s)? How much gas do
you wish to carry? Noise factor? Weight (a 3000 is heavy)? etc.
